The metal slatted base supports your mattress evenly and lets air circulate underneath, keeping things fresh. There's around 30 centimetres of space beneath the frame, so you can slide storage boxes or cases under the bed when space is tight. Steel frame keeps the bed stable and light enough to move when you need to rearrange. Self-assembly required with clear instructions, two people recommended for easier handling.
